Annual Dinner & Legislative Fly-In
With over 100 of the organization's key stakeholders from across the country in attendance, May 7 will begin with committee meetings for each of ARM's eight working committees, as well as the organization's bi-annual in-person Board Meeting. Immediately following is the Annual Dinner, one of ARM's signature events. This dinner is attended by ARM industry leaders and researchers, as well as patient advocates and Members of Congress and their staff.
ARM's Legislative Day then commences on May 8. ARM members spend the day on Capitol Hill meeting with congressional leaders, as well as with key members of the Administration. The purpose is to educate policy makers about the promise of regenerative medicine and the need for legislation and policies that support the field. CASMI is the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation, a partnership between Oxford University and UCL, created to develop new models for medical innovation. The centre aims to address the issues that have led to current failures in the translation of basic bioscience into affordable and widely adopted new treatments. Bernard Siegel is participating in the first CASMI Translational Stem Cell Consortium meeting. The event includes a site visit to I-Stem, the Paris cell manufacturing facility.

The Genetics Policy Institute (GPI), producer of the annual World Stem Cell Summit, and the Regenerative Medicine Foundation (RMF) have agreed to merge in order to leverage their resources in the advancement of stem cell research, regenerative medicine and other advanced technologies targeting cures.

World Stem Cell Summit 2015
The 2015 World Stem Cell Summit took place in Atlanta, Georgia on December 10-12, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The Summit featured a record 200 expert speakers leading 67 sessions and panels and 37 "Conversation with Experts" roundtable discussions. Twelve hundred WSCS14 attendees represented more than 40 countries.
